On June 4, 2010 the passing of the statutes of the Weebale Foundation took place. In 2006 the basis for the Weebale Foundation was already laid.

The foundation contributes permanently to the development of local communities mainly on the African continent, especially in Oeganda. It runs development projects in the fields of water and sanitation, education and employment and schooling to the prevention of malaria and STDs like HIV/Aids. All projects are being realized in cooperation with and at the request of the local population. Each euro , donated by third parties, is being spent directly, one on one, on the projects. Since the beginning of June 2011 the Weebale Foundation has the so-called ANBI-status, which means it is a government approved foundation for public benefit.

WEEBALE means THANK YOU in the Oegandan language
